What You'll Do

  • Design the look, layout, and interactive features of websites, apps, and interfaces.
  • Create and iterate on design deliverables, including sitemaps, wireframes, user flows, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes.
  • Help build and maintain design systems.
  • Collaborate closely with other designers, and across disciplines.
  • Integrate user research and stakeholder feedback into design iterations.
  • Contribute to multiple projects at various stages—from discovery to deployment—adapting your responsibilities as needed.
  • Participate in team critiques, check-ins, and client presentations.
  • Assist in internal QA by identifying and reporting UI/UX issues.

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of professional design experience. This position is expected to be mid-level
  • A bachelors degree in design or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in user-centered design, with examples of completed work that has progressed through all stages of discovery, design, and development
  • Solid understanding of UX principles, responsive/mobile-first design, and accessibility best practices
  • Sophisticated sense of web typography and layout
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work with a team
  • Curiosity, initiative, and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage time and balance multiple projects
  • Proficiency in Figma, especially with components, variables, and libraries

Nice to Haves

  • Experience designing native mobile apps (iOS and Android)
  • Experience preparing for, participating in, or responding to user testing or usability research
  • Familiarity with WCAG/ADA accessibility standards
  • Understanding of front-end development basics and web production tools
  • Experience designing web-based animations or microinteractions
  • Skill in communicating design concepts clearly to developers and QA

We value diverse perspectives and experiences. If this role excites you, even if you don’t meet every qualification, we encourage you to apply.
